Is this the new great rivalry of the age? These two sides for the last 2 decades have been going at it hammer and tong, no love lost between the two either. So I ask you is this the new great rivalry of world cricket? The young Indian upstarts V the great (legendary) Aussies? DISCUSS!!!!

They've won one ODI tournament against Australia out of the last four and haven't won a test series against Australia for the best part of 10 years. England won the ODI tournament last year too and everyone saw what Australia did to them in the ashes, and afterwards at the world cup.
Maybe they should back it up first before being the "new rivals" and start staking any claims, no?

Its obvious statistically that these teams have provided the most memorable contests in world cricket since 2001 and it is made even better that both teams don't like each other.
Personally, i still feel India rely heavily on Tendulkar and how they will cope when he leaves is still to be seen. But in saying that, their young bowling attack is great, however, most bowlers with the white ball seem to get more movement then they are capable of with the red bowler.
Its something i have noticed for a while.
