View Full Version : Rumour regarding Honor's contract not being renewed

I learnt today that there was a board meeting last Tuesday with Honor being told that his contract will not be renewed.
I think it is a disgrace that the club have gone down this path again, surely we have sacked enough coaches over the years with no change in playing performances. The club needs stability.
You dont just throw a guy in the deep end, start him off with a very ordinary team and expect results in just 2 seasons !
Today there were many positives about the team, despite stopping in the last quarter we were hard around the packs etc.

Agreed Easy, anyone that can keep a team BELOW North Adelaide on the table should be kept in my book.
Damn we suck, but our one consolation is that Glenelg suck worse!lol

You want to know the definition of disgrace?

Consider this:

In front of Snout's fence today, I saw:

A Port supporter (Bazzer)
A Dogs supporter (Jerome)
A Panthers supporter (GoSouth)
A Blues Suporter (BluesGirl)
and a thorough frickin' host of Bays fans (naughty monkey, Michael, Davo, Matty, etc)

who didn't I see?

EASTY

There you find the definition of disgrace.

Two weeks from now Glenelg plays West at Richmond. I will be there. If you have any concern for Glenelg - come and identify yourself to me. You will be among Bays fans, and you will be looked after. There is no reason for you to not be there.

If you do not show - then you have no right to talk about the coaching position at Glenelg. Come and discuss it among the Bays fans - or do not discuss it at all.

I look forward to seeing you at Richmond.

Pardon the childish outburst, but:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA

Sorry.

But FFS easty, some supporter you are.

If the current situation at the Bay continues, their long term survival must be in question, pokie revenue or not, on field success is vital to a football clubs viability.

Come off it ! I've gone to 80-90% of games since the mid 90s, and am always a member. I will worry about and discuss my club regardless of whether I make myself seen by you at games. What right do you have to say that ?

I agree with you. All the club seems to care about is its pokies and building extensions and the stupid exercise of sacking, appointing, sacking, appointing, sacking, appointing, sac king, appointing coaches ! Something has to change !

Very well. I apologise.

Nevertheless, is there any good reason why you want to make yourself scarce at the matches?

My offer remains open.

:p Well a very special 'Welcome to you Leaping Linder' or can I just call you LL? :p

*#^@ when did the kitchens get closed down? last time I heard, it was in the hands of the solicitors!! (Stupied Department for Santy and Hygiene) I have been eating my lunch and dinner at the club for 6 years and I am still alive, what is bad for you can only makes you stronger :p

Oh well if this is the case, it's back to vegemite and samboy salt and vinegr sandwiches, again! :p

Damn, Damn - now I have to remember to pack my lunch before every home game!!!

LL is just fine Grogette or possibly just " Don " but now that is getting a little confusing.

The kitchen hasn't been officially closed down(yet).I was just being a bit cheeky after what RTG said on the Rooster Forum.

Hang in there upsets against Sturt at Prospect are a part of our history . Just think 1975 1977 and of course last year!

By the way I loved your home page anyone who is that mad about the Roosters is okay by me but just for the record Benny Hart didn't make the cut of the 1991 GF team . In a weird episode of North's history Nunan introduced three dynamic youngsters in 1990/91. Adam Saliba,Peter Turner and Ben Hart . All three performed well for the NAFC over the next season but not one made the cut of the GF team. Adam Saliba got closest being named as an emergency! Ben Hart then lined up in the 92 pre season against Sturt and had 9 goals kicked on him by the Sturt Full Forward(Stevenson?). He went to the Crows the next week and we haven't seen him since, and by the end of the year he was an All Australian, don't know whatever happened to Stevenson!

Cheers
