View Full Version : Would a treadmill test Judd's groin more than the Doggies?

Judd's about to take the park against the Doggies... but seriously would running on a treadmill be more of a test than lining up against the smallest and softest side in AFL history??
Don't get me wrong, I like the Dogs. But they're about as tough as a whole team of Simon Minton-Connell's.... only much, much shorter.

Is the point that Judd's groin needs testing or that the Dogs are soft?
If it's the former, then getting out on the park and twisting, turning and kicking is obviously going to be of far more benefit than running on a treadmill, no matter who the opposition is.
If it's the latter, then let's just say I prefer the current Bulldogs to the taunting, scratching little flea Libber and that dirty chokeholder Southern.

pfft arrogant Sumich started a fight over a decent bump by Steve Wallis on Heady. Southern was the wrong person he chose to play hero on.
Wouldn't call the team soft, players like Lake, Hahn, Williams, Hudson, West, Cross, Boyd, Johnson, Minson are hardly soft. Even smaller bodied players like Gia will throw their body around (admittedly apart from Kozi he gets pushed over easily).
57 second mark of this video great hit

Clearly - any other player would realise fighting in football circles involved a bit of pushing and shoving and posturing. Southern thought it should involve strangling your opponent until he loses consciousness.

What do you expect from a West Australian anyway? I mean Danny is from Claremont. ;)
