I've got 72 pics but I'll post the best ones i took :)
I felt sorry for Dale when he was signing near the stage and everyone was just like 'DALE COME OVER HERE!'
if i was him i would've kicked everyone.

When Dale tried to move from the autograph tent to the oval he was surrounded by a moving swarm of fans who followed him right across the field. Once safely behind the fence he tried to grab some lunch, but was constantly interrupted. Here he is longingly eyeing a sandwich.

The 32 degree was a bit much for Irish lad Kevin Dyas (not to mention me). Here he is trying to get a wee bit of air under his shirt. If we buy Olympic Park, maybe we'll have some shade next year.

Marty Thomas - to resize, go into edit and click on resize. Then choose a % of the original size. I find about 45% is about right.

I heard that woman calling out to Dale. I think she was frustrated because she was trying to do the right thing and stand in line, but other people were walking in front of her to get closer to Dale, and the security man couldn't police the whole thing, poor sod.
Here's Pendles on stage. He got a great welcome from the fans.

I had to leave after Tarks was presented to the crowd, but undoubtedly, and I say this entirely without bias, up until that point, the biggest cheer of the day was reserved for Rocca.

really nice bloke was easy to see was the moving mob of people, he had two security gaurds not just the stcok one for didak

Yeah he was really nice, when he was up to me he didn't even seem like he wanted to kill everyone, as i would.
Those security guards did nothing. No one was going behind the line, everyone just wanted Dale. He had the coolest sunnies on :cool:

This is the mystery VFL player who made a noted appearance in another thread wearing pink shorts and comfortable loafers. He looks personable enough to be able to take some the heat off Dale as regards the young women.:p

in honest truth i spoke to him before he went on stage and then heard him on stage, i barely understood half of what he said so he could have been having a ripper day and i wouldnt have been able to tell after our convo his accent is so much deeper than marty's.
In truth his accent is deep but he is also a mumbeler so you need to listen to every word lol

Yeah did ask if this happens at every club he didnt quite get the joke about the bulldogs not being able to do it well, but was very surprise about the attention he got
