She stood there waiting like the other 26 kids did and Ross stood up to quick for her to have the chance. Kudos to Saints players for having the decency to stick out their hands but shame on Ross.

Every single player shook the kids hands when they put the medal around their neck.
It looked like Ross Lyon was going to as well, but the kid walked away.

Lyon looked pretty disinterested and was probably bored with the aftermatch presentations anyway as was the whole Stkilda side so maybe that had something to do with it

yeh i guess...i mean he didnt look show too much emotion when the siren went...but neil craig on the other hand...ROFL, i'd have hated to be sitting next to him. and all this talk about them not trying in the nab cup...

Meh, I think the Geelong-Lurve fest last year for the brats on the podium means now that all players and coaches are supposed to spoil the little darlings who hand out their medals ..
I think the fact they get to hand out the medals is a big enough honour in itself, and people can be forgiven if they forget to shake hands etc ...
the young girl had already pirouette and was hurrying off stage before Ross had a chance to shake her hand.
But on the whole, the interest factor was not high really. And how much confetti did they spit into the air for goodness sake?

I think the real issue is whether or not the parents of the Mullet-kid are victims of a translocation in time through some sort of wormhole in the space-time continuum or is that just Adelaide?

Given the game was in Adelaide and those kids (I'm assuming) barrack for Adelaide, most of them looked pretty disinterested. In fact, well done to the Saints players for shaking their hands when, in reality, those kids were wishing it was a Crows player infront of them.
As for Ross Lyon, the girl was gone before he had a chance.
Unlike the rabid fereals from Port and West Coast, who basically ran thru their kids in the GF presentations but let's not go there.....
