Channel Nine announced Edna Richards wife of our Legend Lou has passed away. She lived with Alzheimer's for years which is hard on the family and our thoughts and love must go out to Lou.

Wow that's really sad... she was a great and brave lady and Lou and her loved each other deeply for many years, they married each other in 1948 and still loved each other here in 2008 so 60 years of marriage!!!

She suffered from dementia for the past few years I think though and it got so bad she had to be in a nursing home, but Lou still visited her every day.

RIP Edna, sorry to hear of your great loss Lou, keep fighting mate. :thumbsu:

Poor Lou, one of the reasons he kept going was because of Edna.
