with Ian Astbury of the Cult singing

I guess the Cult were going nowhere although I did think the last album was a big improvement


I think it would have been better if they got the guy from the Tea Party to sing..but maybe he would have got s hitted off doing Morrison thing given he gets that comparison all the time and makes out like he hates it..then again i bet he wouldnt have said to the money

This should be very interesting to see. I also though the latest Cult cd was very good too. Ian Astbury seems to be a natural fit to do this gig for some reason.

Agreed, you can get away with replacing a musician but it just never works doing it with the vocalist, especially one so distinctive and integral to the sound as Jim's.

I do like Ian Astbury's voice but I am not really keen to hear him with The Doors.
