No one cares about Alice Burdeu. I think most of us knew she would be successful but that doesn’t mean she deserved to win. She won because she had the most potential of anyone, but there’s no way she should have won because she should’ve been voted about 3 or 4 times.

I’m back for this new series and I’ll post my weekly recaps which I’m sure everyone will enjoy. :p This promises to be an interesting series I think.

About three weeks ago I said my favourites were Kamila, Samantha and Demelza.

You can tell this series will be way better than the previous one as unlike previous series you can’t immediately identify the winner. I think there are about 5 or so girls who could win, and there a few that could be bolters. Anyway here’s my order of preference…

1. Samantha. Wow what a stunner, that smile is amazing. Close to being voted out tonight which I thought was a bit harsh. Her being at #1 on my list is more of a case of how hot I think she is when in reality her chances of winning appear slim as the judges seem to already be talking down her chances. She is stunning, it would be ridiculous to vote her before giving her a real shot.

2. Damelza. Only 16 but my word she’s mighty fine. Just has one of those exceptionally cute faces and will go deep in this competition. At 16 she’s probably too young to win it as no doubt the judges will harp on about her “not being ready” to win. Anyway she is great and seems like a pretty fun girl.

3. Kamila. I know she’s gone but this is where I would’ve had her. Perhaps the most naturally beautiful girl in the show and the judges are all obviously blind. I am actually in disbelief that she is gone. They mentioned that she appeared somewhat disinterested; have they forgotten they said the SAME THING about Alice every week last year. What a farce that she is gone! Gorgeous, lets start a petition to get her back.

4. Kristy. Don’t have a whole lot to say about her at this stage other than the fact she’s hot. Not sure if she has enough of a “model’s face” though which could count against her. The girls that are flat out hot don’t normally seem to fare too well and she fits in this category.

5. Jamie. Nice looking girl. Onya Radar! ;) She should do alright, can’t see her winning though.

6. Alyce. Initially I wasn’t a fan but she has this intriguing European type look which I like. My opinion might change though.

7. Rebecca. Will finish middle of the pack as while she is far from the worst, she isn’t the best either. Has a certain degree of potential and seems to create a bit of controversy in the house which will be good.

8. Belinda. Not a huge fan but she will go deep because she’s versatile; even Neil Craig would be impressed with her versatility. Didn’t think she was anything flash but then came the Fox 8 advert and she somewhat won me over. Seems like a pretty nice girl but she’s a bit odd!

9. Caris. I had her well entrenched in the “gone” pile but I must admit as the episode went on I became more of a fan. Has braces but that shouldn’t be an issue. Just has a real cute look and could be the big surprise packet. Her photo looked very impressive.

10. Alamela. She sure is a weird one this girl but for whatever reason I kind of like her? She has huge potential and could sneak into the top 3 IMO.

11. Alexandra. Could this girl rate herself any more? I couldn’t stand her right from the outset when she was with Samantha and the judges. Samantha has it all over you, about time you realised this. Unfortunately I suspect she will be around for a while.

12. Emma. How the heck this girl survived is beyond me, and beating out Kamila of all people? Give me a break. There is nothing special about this girl, she is just exceedingly average. She's also a shy girl and they never fare wll, except Alice but that was a joke. Will surely be gone in a week or two which makes Kamila’s exit even harder to take.

13. Leiden. There’s always one isn’t there? Can’t stand her. The sooner she leaves the better. But once again, she has this odd look that the judges seem to be fascinated with and as a result they will carry her until she starts improving.

When I first saw here I was like 'Pure'. Then she opened her mouth...downgraded to 'Rotten'. The astounding thing was she clearly has no idea how much of a tool she is - loved the Kafka, what a pretentious ____wit.

Alamela is also a tool - both for being creepy and being a bitch. Her and Charlotte Dawson should get on famously.

Alex - Knows her shit. I don't think she's as much of a bitch as some others, but just wish she'd let her modelling do the talking

Alyce - Seems to be pronounced "a-leese", but I want to say "Alis"! Killed the commercial, but, well, had to jump out of a pile of leaves :rolleyes: Too early to tell, perhaps some potential.

Belinda - On the job = amazing, stunning, beautiful. Off the job = nutjob, clumsy-looking.

Caris - I'm interested in her. Braces are hawt, but she just doesn't seem to have a model face. They can work wonders in photoshop these days though.

Demelza - Looks a very old 16, get back to you in a week or 2. Thought when I first saw her that she had an allergic reaction in her face or something.

Emma - Yeahno...yeah. Naturally, she seems quite attractive, little bit fun, on camera everything just goes. Dunno how she didn't leave. Can't understand why last years Steph F lovers wouldn't empathise with this girl.

Jaime - Blonde hair, but a bit blah, will need to turn it on the be seen as not just a pretty face. Sweet sweet face, nice body, but could just become another face in the crowd

Kamila - Add 10kgs and yeah, would have been very very nice. Couldn't believe she went.

Kristy - Bimbo, not interested at this stage. It's just week 1 though.

Lieden - No, just go home. Not interested. Must be related to Brett Ebert with the size of her head....perfect match, exact same shape and size!

Rebecca - Bitch. You're there to model hoe :rolleyes:

Samantha - See her one minute, think she's pretty alright, the next, nah. I thought she looked alot like Jodie!

Interesting is the right word to use. Looks wise she’s got something, whatever it may be, but she’s one weird girl. I think the reason I don’t despise her is because he’s smart. I dislike dumb people.

Time for the probably unwanted female opinion. :D

Kamila was the one I noticed first when I saw the ad and thought "my god she's so beautiful" , but when I saw her on the show I thought she was actually pretty average, too thin and constantly had the same look on her face. I didn't see her being versatile enough, so thought it was a reasonable decision. She was also the first one to utter something about "brains and beauty" so that always deserves a little slapping. (There's nothing wrong with having both, but it always seems the need to mention it means you're not so great at either)

I love Belinda, she's really attractive when made up (looks a lot like Sophie Monk before she went crazy with plastic surgery) and she's so cute when she's the geek. She's my favourite by a mile.

Alamela, I can't decide. Half of me wants to like her, the other half thinks she's putting on a total "intellectual eccentric" act. When she was walking around singing, I referred to her as a walking cliche. She is clearly quite intelligent though so I think I'll like her.

Leiden doing the tomboy routine was also hideous though she did look great in the group photo.

Kristy's probably the prettiest for the female eye (as evidenced as them all picking her as competition)

My two most hated so far are Rebecca and Alex. Alex because she's such a name dropping, know it all bitch. Rebecca because she's a nasty and childish little cow. I hope she doesn't drag down Alyce.

Neither of them are as evil and thus as entertaining as Paloma though. She really was sensational.



Oh and yes, Steph F was seriously underrated last year.

What I saw was a bunch of flat chested rakes (though some of them looked great eg Demelza) looking really uninspired. As a girl I think to look great in a bikini you have to have to have curves (for lack of a more appropriate word that won't get picked up by my office's filter).

The Victoria Secret girls are never that flat chested or that seriously skinny.

Do men agree, that curves are better for underwear/biking modelling?

RB none of those girls last night are good enough tie up Heidi's bra strap let alone get an audition to be a Victorias Secret Model. They are kidding themselves. IMO of course. Short legged, no bust, saggy booty - no way geezus Tyra with her extra kgs (still looks good) would get the gig way before these nuff nuffs.

Best thing about most of these wannabees is they make me feel like a Rocket Scientist. Unbelievable, I honestly don’t know why I continue to watch this farce. Kristy was obviously too hot for the show as they prefer to have ugly, plain girls. Emma? Can anyone please explain what makes her so crash hot? What do they see in her? She’s a giant who happens to be one of the plainest girls I can remember seeing on this show, and yet they put her in the safe category after about 5 seconds worth of discussion.

I admit, I thought Samantha was gone! I had prepared myself for the fact that she would be voted off but instead she actually got called pretty quickly which was a relief. What an amazing girl and I hate Leiden because I should be the one kissing her. :p I’m worried about her though because she’s one of these contestants who is never safe and they will vote her off any opportunity they get. She seems to get very little air time when it comes to the shoots and we barely saw her walk.

Speaking of Leiden, what a joke that she is still in. She clearly isn’t a model, doesn’t want to be associated with being a model and yet the judges are all too happy to send stunning chicks like Kamila and Kristy off. Two of the hottest girls gone in the fist two weeks of the show and yet duds like Emma and Leiden survive.

Caris is the dark horse and could be a bolter. I’m liking her chances to making the top 3. Damelza almost blew her chances however she is almost identical to Steph H from last year. Is young, has confidence and all then judges love her. I think the reason for her poor performance should be put down to the pressure Napoleon Perdis put on her. It was just too much for her to handle and the pressure built with every failed shot. Glad she survived as she is very, very attractive.

I’ve got this feeling Alamela will do deep as she resembles Alyce from last year as both seem a bit airy but had the dreaded “potential”. I like Rebecca, she might be loud and immature but she will be the girl who rocks up and performs every week. I also like Alyce and have the feeling she’ll do alright. Lastly, Jamie is a champ! Seems the smartest of the lot and wouldn’t do anything to offend anyone.

I'm stunned that Kristy went as she was in my opinion both the prettiest but also looked like a model (eg Samantha's very pretty but doesn't look like a model and will go soonish) but her shot was terrible.

Emma I think is really very pretty too though. Lovely eyes and cheeks. That said, I think her performance still rated her below Kristy.

I'm really beginning to warm to Leiden, I enjoyed her paying the hell out of everyone else, though the crying was weird. Even though I would consider her very plain normally (no by the way, I'm not an oil painting either) when it's time for a shoot, she looks more model than any of the others. She really has the right look.

She may end up the Alice of the show, as she's got the look she'll be forgiven for breakdowns etc.

The more I see Alex the more I want to slap her, from the "I've already had this haircut, I've moved on from it!" tantrums to the smugness to the kissing the other guy (2 seconds...sure...). I also find her totally unattractive. She will do well, because she's a good model - I'll just never like her.

She's not totally insane like Paloma though so she's not the best bitch the show's ever had.

Oh and seriously judges get over Belinda's glasses. I think they're cute - as long as she performs the tasks without them, does it matter? Belinda smacks of the token "diamond in the rough" selection that they'll lazily turf about 5 episodes in for some silly reason that they'll pass off as "she's just too raw"

Wasn’t a great episode tonight but here’s my take on it.

Emma is gone! 3 weeks too late but nonetheless she’s gone. What they ever saw in her is beyond me. I’m glad she’s gone at an early stage because normally they carry the girls that lack confidence only to dump them halfway through the season which really serves no purpose. I’m still annoyed she beat Kamila but that’s another story. She seemed like a nice girl but IMO didn't belong on the show.

Once again I feared the worst about Samantha but then again she did do pretty well at the photoshoot. I haven’t really liked what they’ve done to her with all the shoots though as they’re wasting her potential. Caris is an interesting one. She does come across as rather good looking at times but without makeup she’s pretty ordinary but I do like her. She seems like one of the nicest girls in the house, behind Jamie of course who really is doing South Australia proud!

I like Rebecca more as each week passes and I’m now confident that she’ll finish in the final 3. She has the best body in the competition and whenever the photoshoot rolls around she always looks stunning. Seeing the previews for next week she should shine.

I can’t stand Alamela, she is unbelievably annoying. Alexandra can be pretty attractive at times but she’s also pretty annoying, mainly due to the fact she rates herself so highly. Belinda is hanging by a thread. I found it interesting that although Leiden performed well she was still close to exiting. That’s promising as hopefully they won’t keep her around if she’s not performing. And what about her emotional outburst?

Damelza once again underwhelmed but I guarantee you she will make the final 3 as Jodie loves her; last season her “pet” model was Steph H and this year it’s Damelza. Nothing wrong with that because I like her but still, can get annoying.

Alyce I like, a lot. Still undecided how far she can go as each week she cops a bit of criticism from the judges but she seems to be progressing okay.

My top 3 prediction:

Rebecca

Although if I had my way it would be a little different to that.

“Don’t fit the clothes, you wont get the shoot”. And yet here is Alamela who has to go into another dress because she was too thin for standard fitting dress. She ends up taking a good shot in her second dress and all the judges rave about it and put her in the safe pile on the back of it. What a joke, they don’t practice what they preach. :rolleyes:

Good to see Samantha deliver on some of her potential and for once produce the goods. I’ve still got faith that she can win, with her look how could she not? She is amazing. She certainly likes showing off her legs and why not? ;)

The first thing that happened was Demelza went into the kitchen where Alamela was cutting a pear or something, went behind her then through a water bomb at her. Alamela screamed, everyone laughed and Alamela then just kept on doing what she was doing.

Then they showed another scene where Alamela was sitting on her own on the couch, Alyce was standing behind her with a massive bowl of water threatening to tip it all on her head if she didnt start reacting to things, with most of the other housemates egging her on, she tipped a little bit on her head, all the girls laughed and Alamela just kept sitting there without batting an eyelid and Rebecca and Alyce were having a go at her trying to get her to react to it. I think Alamela said 'you all expect me to react to it so why would I give in to what you want?'

The second one was ultra pathetic. Reminded me of primary school kids trying to get the 'slow kid' to eat worms or cockroaches whilst they all laughed at them.

I'm not a fan of Alamela at all, I find her pretentious and unlikeable, however in no way did she deserve the treatment she got last night, from Demelza especially. I'm so disappointed in Demelza, after not liking her much in the first episode she was warming up to me, and clearly the prettiest girl there. Actually I was stunned that Alex hadn't gone this week (though I'd already known Jamie was going). I find her really, really plain and the fact that she can't move her lips, was sabotaging the others, and performed only average at best in all things this week should have seen her gone. However they found their excuse to boot Jamie - who'd blitzed everything else this week - and took it.

I actually watched this for the first time last night - my wife's a big fan, but I don't know much of the backstory.

On those that are left:
Alex - huh? I don't find her attractive at all. Something NQR with her face.
Alyce - Nice looking at least - but terrible photo, and apparently attitude to boot.
Caris - Amazing eyes...but very girl next door-ish (perhaps because it was PJ modelling though)
Demelza - Very young, but very pretty face. Doesn't like working with 'boys' - but that's probably age and inexperience. (she'll get over that rather quickly if she's successful)
Jamie - Wow. Shocked when she went - thought she was one of the favourites.
Leiden - I don't find her at all attractive, but she took very good style photos - PJs not her thing.
Rebecca - Thought the photo was good, but she just isn't good looking.
Samantha - She may be the oldest, but she's very immature. Very beautiful though.

I know my tastes have changed since I've got older (and married with kids), but most of these girls are just good looking, nothing more - to me at least. I'm no judge of 'modelling talent' though.

Her first shot was very good, the second just incredible. One of the hottest shots I can recall from this show. Wow she is an absolute stunning girl and those eyes!

Alyce I still rate very highly, for sure the first shot was a shocker but how good was the second one? Saved her from elimination and she has a great deal of untapped potential. The problem is that unlike Caris, she looks her best when she rocks up to see the judges. Lovely blue eyes she has. I think she has a maximum of two weeks left in the show though.

For mine Caris was an early exiter, couldn't stand her crying at a whim and she wasn't very good looking, but boy has she picked up, the acne on her face is dissapearing and her body is smoking, Caris FTW NOW!:thumbsu:

In regards to why she gets so hot I think it is just her, sure it would be due to makeup, but she is going to get that done everytime.

BTW how good were all those second photos, that photographer is a ____en gun, even made the dog Alyce look good.:eek:
