Oh man, talk about nostalgia.
Does anyone remember the old 'Footy Sensation' that they used to put on during September around 10-12 years ago. The one where you could commentate a game of your choice, or take a speccy infront of a green screen.
Still got my commentary effort, Melbourne vs Collingwood, could name only one Pies player at the time and mistook Jeff Hilton for Paul Hopgood. Good times.

Channel Seven need to bring back the Greg Champion song that opened the Sunday Footy Panel that had all that stuff in it like "we'll have an RHG. A Red Hot Go!" "We'll go BTB. Back to basics! and take a good hard look at ourselves"
Classic.
What doesn't need to be brought back is Voice of the G's Nothing Beats The Footy At The MCG.

Would that be the one where we were 3pts down with about 9 seconds to go, boundary throw in about 60m out from goals?
Ball gets thrown in, then the best specialist boundary throw-in ruckman ever, David schwartz, thumps the ball 20m into the path of leoncelli who calmly slots it from about 30m out with about 2 secs left on the clock.
I have fond memories of that game, it was a set play that i bet you they practiced heaps at training and 1 time when they really needed it, it worked to perfection.

would love to see them bring this back with all the players from todays era. good to see all the legendary faces in this one though. everyone gets stuck into Ch7 this year for their footy coverage but if they bring this type of thing back it'd be a big thumbs up.

Brillaint eh. Forgot how good Wona was that day, just an amazing game of footy. Also good to see Cale and Wona in the middle of the team song at the end of the game singing their hearts out. :thumbsu:
