Okay, I'll ask about a movie I've been trying to find for years

It's a western, set in the mid 1800's

An Army patrol meets up with a wagon train, and they all come under attack by Indians. They take refuge in a canyon, which has a fresh water pool, and make their stand against the Indians, although most of them wind up dead.

Anyone know the title?

No movie with Lee Marvin singing in it could possibly be taken seriously.

haha yeh, ive taken it from the simpsons episode,

never seen the actual movie

Paint your Wagon is a great Movie I dont care who you are.
'McKennas Gold' comes to mind from your description, has Gregory Peck and Terry Savales (Kojack)
