seats/standing at geelong

Hi people,

north supporter from werribee so be easy on me.

i'm looking to go to the cats - roos game in 2 weeks and wondering how seating standing works there.

do you have to get a reserved seat or is there plenty of general admission - standing area now adays.

if you have to get a seat what sort of price you looking at too. also any views on standing for kids - do they get a view (just in case they want to go)

Seating can be fairly expensive for non members of Geelong.

Non GFC Member - Seat Only (no entry included)

Adult (including entry)

There is a fairly large sections up the back for standing (GA)Not sure on what sorta views the kids get but if your close to the front of the area shouldnt be too bad.

Standing is pretty good there. If your tavelling with little one you'd want to be inside the ground by 1:30 to get a decent spot though.

Sorry to intrude.

I ventured down last year when we played eachother on that sh*tful day and was able to sit in the old grand stand behind one of the goals (sorry, dont really know your ground too well). From memory i only paid GA to get in, although i could be wrong.

Was a good atmposhere in spite of the fact it was about 5 degrees and the sky looked like something like the end of the world!!

Hope we get another great game this year.

Theres plenty of standing room.Also,theres a VFL curtain raiser,so if your at the ground early enough [by1PM,maybe],you'll get a great standing spot at either end.
