With the IPL clashing with the West Indies-Australia test series later this year, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Chris Gayle and Ramnaresh Sarwan, probably the West Indies 3 best players, are contracted to play with the new franchise league. Potentially, the 3 players mentioned could miss the 1st 2 tests of the series. So more likely than not, there will be a potential clash between the players, the West Indian board and the IPL.
There you go, the great fear is being realised. These new leagues (IPL and ICL) are having a detrimental impact on international cricket, especially very poor nations like the West Indies. How ****in ridiculous.
So, does these leagues and the BCCI really give a flying **** about international cricket?
Who are they really thinking about, cricket itself, or just themselves?
Do you think this is only the beginning and developing cricket nations are going to really struggle to compete with these leagues and hold onto their best players?

BCCI only cares about one thing .. the BCCI. One of these days people will wake up to these guys but by then it will be too late.
