Has anyone got any news on the latest rumours that the season will be pushed back a few weeks to allow grounds to soften up a bit? Same rumours float around every year, does anyone know if these ones are true?

You sir.....are an absolute idiot.
Either for believing what you heard or for making that up because nobody talks to you.
I hope you've learned your lesson and don't ask the same question next year.

You are obviously getting confused with AMATEUR football.
Don't know how you get the acronyms VAFA and AFL mixed up
What will make the grounds soften up in two extra weeks? a flood of biblical proportions?

Maybe we just truck Fevola around to each of the grounds and he can give them all a good spray.

Just pump some water out of the yarra that backs onto ur ground. i think the real reason u started this is hoping it would get off the ground as ur new coach needs more time with you blokes after only being appointed in jan.

there seems to be a lot of clubs without grounds for practice matches or training. some clubs are fully briefed on ground available whilst others are being given very short notice that grounds are suddenly unavailable. are there any clubs that suspect they won't have a ground available for round 1?
