This thread wasnt here for scentific reserch, it was simply here to display that michael newton is the most overrated player by soo many people here.
Shaun smith's mark was better and he was a better player than newton probaley will ever be.

Newton plays in a more important position but Jones is a way better footballer at the moment.

He is a cult hero on this board for a bit of a laugh. I doubt any of us think he is the next Tony Lockett, but it creates a bit of fun when you pick a particular player and give him "God-like" status. Chill out mate.
