I thought Proud would be a certainty? He's not even named in the emergencies??

I'm often puzzled by the phrase "useless as tits on a bull" - surely you're doubling you milk output right there.

I'm going to go for "as useless as scrotum on a jar of vegemite".

"As useful as a flyscreen on a submarine" goes alright too.

I'm guessing that it's due to the fact that the Brisbane team hasn't actually been named yet!

Yeah but it was good for a bit of Dream Team panic!

He's probably going by the Footy Show last night. Proud was not named in the team shown by them. i thought it was an obvious question to ask. I was going to but judging by the response from some of you peanuts i'm glad i didn't.

Why would two Carlton fans care about a rookie Lion playing against West Coast, unless it was Dream Team related? You'll see there's a DT thread on the board...Asking DT questions anywhere else is, to quote Roy Boys, "tupid".

Don't get precious princess.

I saw the thread topic and chose to read on as somebody else had also shown interest.

No reason to show a lack of respect to opposition supporters inquiring.

Pull your head in mate. The moderators have made it clear that anyone who asks a DT question anywhere but in the clearly marked thread at the top of the board deserves to be derided. There is a service being provided that no-one is entitled to receive. If posters from other clubs can't be polite enough to follow what is a pretty simple rule then there's no right to respect in return.

But, the poster may have watched the footy show and has seen a few of our matches live and wondered why he was not picked. No dreamteam involverment.

How come we get mean at posters on here.

We want people to love our team not be chastised for coming on our board to ask a simple question.IMO,but that may be not what others want around here.

This thread is still here? LOL.

Dreamteam thread exists for Dreamteam questions.

Roster Watch exists for up to date player information.

The Brisbane board is the most thoughtfully structured board on Bigfooty.

People need to be mindful of creating new threads for every little thought that goes through their head, especially when the information they require could very well be available if they took 2 minutes to look.

Thanks for some support.. I never seen so many egos on one site!! Its like, lets be smart and arrogrant on a PC cos we lack the gumpton to do so in real life!!

The reason why i asked was i had heard alot about him and my partner is a Lions fan. After watching the footy show and CORRECT his name was not listed, i though it was a pretty valid point to raise...

Hey, your learn more about footy fans in 1 hr on a websiter than years of watching them live!! Go Lions, Go Blues..I'm PROUD to have JUDD

Maybe so Champ, but all it would take is for the 1st replying poster to POLITELY inform him to check the D/T thread rather than spend the next 14 deriding him. Geez talk about precious.

Indeed.

Thanks for being a fascinating case study.

This is what happened for the first 20 or so Albert Proud related threads started by opposition supporters in the last 2 weeks. Think I am exaggerating? Think again... champ.

If that was the case there is always the Brisbane vs West Coast thread...no need to start a new thread which will clutter up the board

What argument???? I was just pointing out that it maybe people may wish to treat others as they wished to be treated on these boards. But if it's and argument and there needs to be a winner, I dips me lid.

You seem to be one of a very small minority that has a problem with the posters here.

You'll notice the vast majority of visitors to this board who use the resources we provide (roster watch, dreamteam questions etc) find us very helpful and friendly when it comes to answering the few questions that those aforementioned resources don't provide.

Give and take.
