Looks like it. After being just over three goals up in the third quarter, the Blues were looking pretty good only to throw it away in the final term.

And not only did they throw it away, they were beaten convincingly by five goals, an eight goal turnaround in less than an hour of football. Not even Chris Judd and company could lift the cellar-dwelling, dusk choked Blues when it mattered and they have "wasted" another chance for victory.

Have Carlton started to tank in only the first round of the season? How long will the AFL continue to tolerate this type of behaviour? Will the Blues continue to tank in order to prepare for season 2012? :thumbsu:

It`s a conundrum, wrapped up in an enigma that Carlton can be both shit and Tank in the same breath.
