Austar vs Foxtel

I'm thinking of getting pay TV. I'm tired of the lack of AFL coverage on FTA TV. Can anybody tell me the difference between Foxtel and Austar and which one is better?

I do believe the main difference is that only one of the two is available in any given area. I could be wrong, but as you live in country Victoria I think Austar is the only one available to you.

From what I know they're essentially the same thing (in terms of channels) except the pricing structures are different.
