Alex had a praccy match against Kilsyth (?) a couple of weeks ago. Was too hot so they only had 15 min quarters and didn't even bother scoring. Then shared a barbie.
They play 2 games at home (I think) against Bonnie Doon this Saturday.
We had a decent hit out against FTG on saturday. skills were very rusty and geez those first couple of contests hurt! 6 quarter game we were in front by about 3 goals when we bought on our 2nds and 3rds after 3 1/4s then they ended up in front by 2 goals at the end. TH 9-19 to FTG 10-21. very bad kicking bit windy and a lot of rushed behinds. And i think for the first time ever from one of our prac matches, no injuries for us.
Also saw the last 1/4 of Alex and Doon. Doon were struggling but bit the same as our game a bit scrappy. Heardy kicked 3 while we were watching but the guy playin on him would struggle to get a game in our 2's.
Howd everyone else go?

Anyone at the game know how the Broady boys went for Bonnie Doon?
I only saw the last quarter of the Alex/Doon game and didn't really notice any Doggie players stand out but it's hard to tell who's who in a praccy game, especially when you don't know players or numbers.
Alex look to have some good kids coming through. Expect their seconds to really benefit from having Snake Elliot helping Hedge out with the coaching this year. He's got a very astute footy brain. I wouldn't be talking to him either if he was my husband L. Grounds for divorce I reckon. :D
Who was #32 for the Boners Pup? A bit of a mystery man who created a few comments from supporters.

Belgrave had a couple of intra-clubs, and a game against Panton hill, which was a very physical affair. A couple of send off's, and both teams playing as if it wasn't a praccy match at all.
Belgrave thumped there ressys by 14 goals, and just got over ran after being up by 4 goals. pretty good first hit out for the year.
