I propose that we throw the rest of the season and concentrate all of our efforts in securing another glorious wooden spoon, first draft pick and a priority choice to boot.
WE SIMPLY CANNOT DROP THE BALL IN THIS QUEST. MELBOURNE WILL PROVIDE SOME VERY, VERY TOUGH OPPOSITION, AS A MATTER OF FACT, THEY MAY WELL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO OVERCOME.
However, we must not shirk the task!!
There are many riches(pun;)) at the end of this rainbow.
That young ruckman, Natatatinuiuiui, (or is it Ratatoiulle??)....you know who I mean.:o
And I have already mentioned the young lefty from Subi.:)
And with some skilfull, creative and crafty trading we should be able to backdoor Hawthorn for Buddy!! (I propose a deal of Pavlich, McPharlin, Palmer and Mayne plus a couple of lower draft picks and $2m per year should get the big fella):thumbsu::)
Heres how we do it!!
Gentleman Jeff and Bellend to be made joint head coaches immeadiatley. Their Eagles jumpers should really get the guys in the mood for a nice old thumping.
Pavlich to the back pocket...and to bloody well stay there!!
Sandi to a half back flank. His run and creativity will set us alight.
That midget Bell is to learn how to drive a bulldozer and is never, ever to leave Geraldton again!!
Farmer to be made Captain and first ruck!!
I could go on......however I am sure that there are far superior football minds on the board who might have some worthy contributions to this cause.
