For all you people that like the heavier side of the music scene, RAGE last night was awesome!
Great variety of heavy stuff programmed by the JJJ guy.
A taste of my faves played:
Coroner - Masked Jackal (technical perfection)
Kreator - Betrayer (still as vicious as when it was released in 89!)
Suicidals - Trip To The Brain (John Cusack!)
Testament - Low (crap clip though)
Carcass - Incarnated Solvent Abuse
Arch Enemy - Ravenous (YES!!!!! Angela, are you married???!!!)
Blood Duster - Pornstorestiffi (Never seen it before, the lads keep getting better! Funny, funny band!)
SYL - Detox (Devin goes mental)
Brujeria - La Migra (hehehe - classic film clip, go 'the idiot'!)
Morbid Angel - Immortal Rites (still does it for me after all these years)
Napalm Death - Greed Killing (Barney looking respectable!)
Bungle - Quote Unquote (of course!)
Great for Comedy value:
Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock (brings back memories of being a tiny tacker telling my Dad 'I Wanna Rock!!!":D )
Ratt - How gay was this band???

Thanx for the Rage program site SB. On the TS vid, I read that a band called LIT re-made the We're Not Gonna Take It vid with Dee Snider steppin' in the shoes of the ball-breaking father...read it was hilarious. So how do I request it? I've left a message on the guestbook, not that Rage will take notice.

I've got the full length video (half hour) with about five songs on it. Be Cruel... is the highlight, with Bob Goldthwait (Zed from the Police Academy films) playing the part of a school teacher.

You obviously know nothing about metal. How can you include Coroner in the above list and leave out Stryper or Poison.
Next thing you will be raving about Danzig. Give me Joe Satriani anyday over this lot.

All I know is that those mixed various tapes I gave in high school so many years ago got you at least bopping along to Metallica....
And you bought a Misfits t-shirt! Which I conveniently borrowed and wore religiously for about 6 years afterwards...

Now that guy was 'ROCK!', and he knew all about metal - he was a fan of both Stryper AND Poison!

As far as I am concerned Australian metal is defined by 1 band only. They are Sulkus.
When they disbanded due to the bass players extended visit to Long Bay Gaol I was devastated.
