Was at the game today, fantastic victory, I was on the aisle the coaches came down, Egan was with Bomber he was studying the teams play on his pad, Lets not forget our AA backman's cruel 2007, and that with him coming back our team will be even better!! :thumbsu:

Egan will have to earn his way back into the team after so long a lay off with injury. No-one has forgotten him and I hope he can show us some form like he had last year. But I suspect that this year will be about him more getting his fitness back up to scratch at this stage. For as far as I know he has pretty much missed most of pre-season training. But others may correct me if I am wrong.

He's a young guy he will get his chance again. But what a great thing we don't need to rush him back.

I can not wait for my favourite player to return, however Harry Taylor is a young version of Matty.

agreed, Harry Taylor is awesome, Gamble is accurate in front of goal, and Trent west is huge and a good ruckman!

I saw him today. I was sitting beside where the coaches came down, and he was in the box. he said he was going allright, but to me he still looked a bit iffy on the foot.

Taylor is a brilliant get. If Harry keeps playing like this they'd be hard pressed to drop him when Egan is fit again. Great to have him there as an option, absolutely no need to rush Matty back.
