View Full Version : Burton?
Twice now I've heard Vic commentators/journalists state that Burton is suffering from osteitis pubis.
This is news to me - has anything been said about that here in S.A.?

I live here (in Vic) and haven't heard that one. Might depend on the journalist . Some of them aren't real bright and some are just being spiteful when then say things like that.

It's actually Scott Welsh who's suffering osteitis pubis and has been out for a little over a month now.
So they were correct in the injury just had the wrong player.

Yeahh, I think the Chanel 9 commentary team were having a bad day, confusing Burton with Welshy (although the way Burton went missing he may want to use OP as an excuse). Apparantly the Crows have Brett Beinke & Andy Goodwin playing for them as well. :o
It was Dwayne Russell today who had a shocker, must have had lessons from Brian Taylor or is that Brett Taylor?:D

I wondered if they were talking about Scotty.
I first heard Mike Sheahan say it on Foxtel's League Teams, then Gerard Healy said it yesterday. Being such knowledgeable people I thought they must know what they're talking about. LOL

At least James Brayshaw gets the names right - then again when did he last do a Crows game??
