I've been really impressed by the look of Trent West in his first two games. I think he's got great mobility and is no slouch in the taps despite being a bit shorter than some ruckman. The guy can kick though, I think he could actually make a decent forward prospect if Geelong feel they have a spot to fill there. Decent utility prospect for the future, could even be quite a useful player this year if any holes need plugging.
Very good user of the ball for a big fella. Has a very nice kick on him and looked a lot more comfortable this week. Unfortunatly with Otto due back shortly and Blake showing the ability to take towering marks in the forward line and banging goals in from outside the paint, it looks as though he will move back to the VFL in the near future. Mind you, he will take the no. 1 rucking role this year in the VFL, something that he really hasn't had the chance to due to King / Blake being there most of last year.
Will be a very handy ruckman in a year or two.

I wonder how much taller he will get?
Looks very mobile though - Happy to see him get some experience.
I think he could play a Hale type roles as a forward who can relieve ruck duty. I think the last two weeks have given him a good idea on what he needs to do to succeed at AFL level.
I'd like to see him gets 5 or 6 more games this year.
