Gday :thumbsu: Trav Cloke has started a bit slowly. Was fantastic in the first half against Brisbane before hurting his ankle, then his output was minimal. Does anyone know how bad the injury was? He played out the rest of the game but sometimes its worse in the next few days. Anyone know if he will be available this week? Cheers

Started a bit slow last season as well. I wouldn't be worried, its actually better that he starts the season slow and really hits his straps at approx. round 17-18. I would prefer he build up to the finals.

Its a long season, and for a young CHF playing the most difficult position on the ground, its much better that he peaks around finals time, when his input would be much more valuable.

See last years finals....

Takes a while to get into it, but boy, when he is on and at full flight, is there many better? Apart from J.Brown, he is establishing himself more and more as the dominant forward in the competetion along with Buddy as well. And he will only ge better. I can't wait to see Trav, Pebbles and Reid all firing at the same time. Just makes me lick my lips :P. If our forward line begins to work, a Premiership would not be far away at all.

He's started slowly, but there are still good signs there.
Nice to see him kick some tricky shots at goal too.
I hope he does play, I think Richmond's defence would struggle with his size and pace :D.

I thought he looked pretty good against Freo for a first game. He was playing well in the first half against the lions too, booting those 2 goals. The rolled ankle was a setback but he will get back into it:thumbsu:

Trained inside today along with Goldsack, though they are both supposedly meant to be right for this weekend

Fraser trained with the netball girls... Nothing surprising there :P

Egan won't be a scapegoat for much longer if he keeps playing like he did on Friday. He'll be a VFL scapegoat if anything. I've always thought he'll come good, but games like that really test your patience.

Why, do you think he is trying to make it more square shaped so he can transfer over to the Bombers?

I'm very concerned that Big Trav is going to miss on Sunday. It will stuff our whole structure.

I've spent a couple of years speaking up in Egans' defence but after Friday night at the GABBA, I admit I am WRONG you were all right. If that performance didn't give proof that he doesn't have the talent for AFL then it gave proof that he doesn't have the ticker. When he screwed up which was whenever he did anything he didn't work to try and rectify it. Inept, Lazy and Disinterested are all applicable to any description of that supposed effort.
