The Ballarat Courier have been patiently awaiting my return after my adventures with Immigration, and I have informed them that their patience has been rewarded...

So with that in mind, I've returned to covering the Central Highlands Football League for that paper, and I'll be at the Learmonth v Clunes game this Saturday.

Should be an entertaining affair, with Learmonth just outside the five, and Clunes looking to play the role of the spoiler...

Also, if anyone can let Jennifer and I know where Learmonth is, in relation to Ballarat, and where the ground is once we get into town, that would be greatly appreciated as well. :)

Looking forward to my new assignment this weekend!

Cheers,
William

Take the Sunraysia Hwy, which i think is the one which goes up through Wendouree and past the big airshow place and crosses the bypass about where the signs are that calculate your speed as you go under. The direction is north-west.

Learmonth is the first town along that route. The ground is sort of on your left, but I dunno exactly where.

Learmonth used to have their own league ages ago. Burrumbeet used to play in it.

Learmonths ground can be seen from the highway.

You should buy a VIC ROADS Victorian Country Dictionary, it has maps of heaps of towns, and has every inch of the state covered (It's like a Melways for the bush).

I've got one in my ute, and it's handy to have incase you get lost, go to a Roadhouse, and if it's available, get it you won't reget it:D .
