Just wondering how far you guys have gone to make sure you don't miss the one game a week we all love to watch. For me, i've just been in New York the past 2 weeks, but made sure i took the computer with me. THe game started at 2:00am NY time (Both the Kangaroos and the Geelong game) but stayed up until the finish (About 4:30-5:00) for both games. Yes even when we were 80+ down against Geelong. And we were due back at 11pm tonight, made sure we got the earlier flight, got in about 30mins ago and, after 34 hours of travel to get back to Melbourne, will be heading down to see the boys tonight. :)
I'm sure there are some good ones out there, so lets here them:thumbsu:

Nothing extravagant on my part. Avoid having things on during the Essendon games every week. CANCEL if there is some sort of invitation. Have got my mobile internet service so if I have had to miss the game (god forbid) I can update the scores during the match. I also love trash talking with my mates that Essendon will pump them. Of course it has been known to backfire...
That's some damn good work there Case.
I was in LA for 5 days a couple of years ago and I had to find an Internet Cafe just to see if we ended up with Campo and Heff in the PSD

I travel most weekends from South Gippsland to see the game. That said, I'm not going tonight as I just had to fork out a lot of money to get my dogs fixed. I'll be there Friday night for sure but.

I was in Bankok and Phuket last year. I made sure I watched the games (vs Geelong and Bulldogs IIRC) and the got onto bigfooty to find out more about the Hird and Davey injuries.

In 2000 me and a mate forked out $800 each to go to the GF. At the time that was a lot of money for me.
I travel quite a bit and always try find a way to watch the games live if i can.
I will be in Koh Samui at the time of the Saints game but i will watch it live thanks to Dapto and a few of the boys giving me some tips. :thumbsu:
Not sure how my company will react to this but thems the breaks.
sorJimi, it should be saintJimi, and I would go to the extent of watching on the Internet if the TV wasn't working or my folks were watching something
