I think I can speak on everyones behalf and say how glad we are to see Thurgoona heading back down to the bottom of the ladder. :D

Losing to Tallangatta, how embarassing.

Mitta and Kiewa should be really happy to have another team to get a percentage boost off.

I don't think they will make the finals (they may prove me wrong). I believe they had a better side last year. I see a few have tipped against them for this weeks game against Rutherglen. I think they will get up in this one. Wonder how the Go Thurgooooooooona thread is travelling?

so whats everyones problem with Thurgoona. I think that the competition realises that they are slowly becoming a force in the comp and are a little bit scared. (even though they did lose by a kick on the weekend which isn't a disgrace tallangatta will cause some upsets) they won't slide too far if at all keep bagging them it just adds fuel to there fire of wanting to knock off everyone across the border.

Don't need a half wit to speak on my behalf thanks Roughy!!

Tallangatta played well, so no need to feel embarrassed. Thurgoona were ordinary to say the least and yet only went down by a goal or two. Nobody has won a flag after the first round so lets not get to carried away just yet.

Roughy, interesting comment. Just a question as to why you hate Thurgoona so much? I would have thought that any team, no matter who it is, that makes the competition stronger and brings better players into the league no matter who it is, would be welcome. Besides anyone involved with Mitta, I am sure everyone else involved would love to see another team win the Grand Final, whether it be Thurgoona or not.

Well done to the Dogs for bouncing back. It's by far the best way to silence the critics. Who were the better players?

Have a RHG I think that some have a problem with Thurgoona as they may feel that The dogs talk themselves up a bit. Obviously wth the great improvement last year comes excitement and I think some see this as boasting or cockiness. I believe that by having the Go Thuroona thread that it makes the club a target as it is on a public forum. If you read through that thread which I did the other day it may make some readers want them to lose. I do notice that it hasn't been used in a while. Anyway just my thoughts- you may/probably think differently. I'm also sure the dogs have better things than this thread to get them up for games.
Anyway here is a hypothetical question for you- I noticed that you made the comment that Thurgoona are a 5 goal better side at home. I also see that they won by 25 points on the weekend. Does this mean they will lose to the cats in the return game by 5 points?

Is it true Brendan Pearson from Albury 2's is playing for Thurgoona. Meant to be a very good running CHB player.
