I must admit that if you asked me about him last year, i would have said that he should get cut from the list. But he's been a quiet achiever this year. Sure his disposal is a bit bad at times, but he's really worked hard to be part of the team.
Good on him.

I even think half way through this season there would have been some questions asked of James Rahilly and whether he's good enough for AFL standard but he seems to have taken his chance which has been good to see. He still needs to work on his disposal, but I think James is worth keeping on our list at this stage.

Rahilly has been good for the last 8 weeks & thats probably saved his career at Geelong.

I don't watch much Geelong, but what I have seen of Rahilly is good. He should be tried in the ruck just to see how many hitouts he could get, for a bit of fun.
It would be better if his name was Prounced Ra-Healy, though. But Rahilly Pronounced Rarlie is still a pretty good sounding name.
I am tipping him for the Coleman medal next year...

Possumisagun,
I think you might have James Rahilly confused with Kent Kingsley there mate!! James Rahilly wears the #34 jumper and plays mainly in the midfield and occasionally across half back. I dont think there's any chance of him winning a hit out, let alone the Coleman Medal. :):)

i dunno whether he's trying to be funny or not ... ?:(
anyway, i've gotta find a new favourite player since Snell retired. i'm not sure whether Rahilly will be that player, but he's impressed

I put money on Rahealy for the 2003 coleman medal last night, he is currently at odds of 4,000,000,000-1... I put $3 on him.
I am gunna try and get in touch with Bomber and convince him to play Rahealy at full-forward and to tell all his Geelong players to look for him rather than have a shot.
While he is up in the forward line he should to some of the boudnary throw-ins... just for fun.
