With all the talk coming from the Kangas camp over the last couple of weeks about reaching 30,000 members, no one really cared how many non North supporters were in that number. It has taken a dismal crowd at the MCG against Melbourne and only 9,000 members turning up to the game against the Bombers for the media to start asking questions about how safe they really are. They can't rely on "sympathy" (for the lack of a better word) memberships to sure up their future, and I was wondering of that 30,000, how many are not actual North supporters.

So the 4 options are;

North Melbourne Supporter and Member.
North Melbourne Supporter and Non Member
Opposition supporter and North Melbourne Member (and will continue to buy North membership in the future)
Opposition supporter and North Melbourne Member (and will NOT continue to buy North membership in the future)

Next year the numbers will dip by around 10,000 I am guessing, alot was just out of fear that they were going to leave, nobody wants to see that, but they will dip considerably when people realise that there here now.

So they'll dip to levels below anything we've ever had? Makes perfect sense

Well it seems worse thst I thought. I initially heard that 9,000 North Member turned up to the Essendon game but as Eugene Arocca has since come out and said;

Arocca also revealed that only 7900 club members came to the Kangaroos' round-one clash with the Bombers.

That match at Telstra Dome attracted an overall crowd of 49,800. At that point the Kangaroos had just shy of 30,000 members.
