Anyone have good vision of Ablett taking down Gilbert when they were both streaming through the centre of the ground? It seemed to me Ab just put Gilb off balance & he went down. A bloke not far from me swore that it was Ab's swinging arm that felled Gilbo.

Unfortunately Geelongs players all getting reported isn't going to make up for the loss.
And unfortunately getting cleaned up is the least of Gilberts concerns... Other than his 2 goals I thought he was pretty ordinary Saturday.

Nah not after retribution or excuses. Just wondering if we were the only 2 people in the stadium to see it.

Geelongs players all getting reported
If I was however relying on afl.com.au to give me updates on the tribunal news, I might be in for a long wait.

We need players who can kick up forward, I love Gilbo's game but his kicking is about as good as mine

I haven't seen any big Gandolph torps lately, but yep he's got some work to do. Some games better than others, but there is a technique issue. Maybe there's a rugby thing (turning the ball sideways for a field kick?) going on? I think with his tackling and closing speed he is Max's replacement at full-back, but whilst Max is playing well (he sure is Robert Walls) then he can be used elsewhere (wing/forward/tag).

Gilbert on the wing. Kosi on the other wing.

CHRIS! Kosi on the wing!!??! VERY SCARY proposition for:
anyone in the middle as he stream trains in there &
himself - 360° to be aware of. He used to be like a magnet drawing in trouble from every direction. Hopefully he's used up all his bad luck.
... still would make me very nervous though.

Worth a go for a quarter. Only would use it when Kosi is not getting many kicks in the forward 50m

Yep, still makes me nervous mate. Still, no use in maintaining the status quo if we're gunna play like pigs ... snort
