Both have come back from knee reco's and both are capable of kicking 50+ goals in a good season.

Thommo hasn't dominated yet, despite kicking 5 on the weekend - and while I didn't see the game, I heard Bradshaw was awesome on Saturday night )not just in kicking them, but also giving them off)- so you would have to go Bradshaw so far in 2008.

16 and 12 goals respectively (3rd and equal 5th in the league so far) is a great return from two guys coming back from recos.

Agree with our striped friend ^^^^.

Both would be handy in most forward lines, but Bradshaw for me, only just.

Bradshaw for me, can play back and forward.
If only Thompson could do that.

Thompson (?)2006(?) was better than Bradshaw has ever been, Forward or Back!

Bradshaw through out his career has looked like he could have kicked 80+. I don't think Thompson could do that.

Bradshaw's 2006 was better than Thompson's IMO...especially as he had to play a lone hand up forward in a lowly ranked side after Brown went down.

Are you saying that Thompson didn't play a lone hand up forward in a lowly ranked side?

I think Thompson had more support with the likes of Rocca, Jones, Harvey, Grant and Harding all playing important roles. Bradshaw had Brown for 10 games and that was about it (especially when you think that Brown was the main target when he played), and our forwardline as a whole was a lot more disfunctional IMO.

Even without those differences I still think Bradshaw's season was better.

Thommo for me.
Extremely underrated player, perhaps a little unfulfilled talent wise.

Bradshaw easily! better kick, better when the ball is on the ground, better when its hard and tough. Thompson goes missing when it gets hard.

Thompson is fragile both mentally and physically. This isnt a fair match up.

Bradshaw is one of the best FF's in the AFL. Thompson is good also but I would have to say Bradshaw.

Can i change my vote, after the last two matches, Bradshaw, I feel a bit stupid for ever thinking the opposite!
