You don't think much of Fisher do you? surely there is a better player to match him against?

Fisher by absolute light years. Johns will probably be de-listed at years end - a strong player, but slow, and not very skillful - very easy to negate, and run off. The Blues really missed Fisher in Round 1. He's an incredibly versatile KP forward because he is deceptively tall, and a simply brilliant pack mark. His work at ground level is exceptional, and is frequently pushing further up the ground providing a link role. His weakness is distance on his kicks - struggles to kick beyond 50m. :)

Silly poll, Fisher easily. Could have rated him against a more worthy opponent, mind you Johns has at times looked alright, just hasn't kept his spot.

Fisher easily.

Under rated player by many on BF, none in opposition clubs.

This must be a joke thread, anyone who gives Johns a vote believing he is/will actually be better than Brad Fisher would be R'ted!

He's a strong body, unfortunatly he hasn't used it enough to his advantage and thats why when 4 Key position forwards are out of the side, he can't get in it.

Wouldn't say fisher is a simply brilliant pack mark, a very good one, but simply brilliant is reserved for the likes of Carey.

brad fisher has the best set of hands in the afl.

i'm not talking about how strong he is and how good he can outmuscle someone to take a contested grab, i'm talking purely in terms of hands. i know someone like jon brown is more capable of outmuscling someone like darren glass and taking a contested grab but fisher's hands are in a league of their own. pity his kicking can't reach the same heights, that and him being skinny is what makes the difference between him being the great player he is and him being a champion player.
