View Full Version : Fevola Vs 25 yr old Lloyd
On a consistency basis: Lloyd easily. On a pure talent basis: Fev by light years. (Gee I hope this post doesn't get edited. lol) :)
even lloyd at 21 was better. he was a 100-goal-a-season man. enough said. and besides, as good as fevola can be, he is too inconsistent/.

Both players at 25, i'd want Lloyd in my team, no question.

well i got to admit fev is pretty unconsistent.. but if i had to choose one or the other right now it would defintly be fev! hes getting himself together again and is starting to play good footy :)

Lloyd comfortably. I notice 14 Carlton supporters have voted to this point.

This is evidence that Bigfooty is a joke of a forum for opinions.
Lloyd at 25 was threatening to become one of the greatest FF's the game had seen, only recent injuries have curbed that.
Fev has strung together two good games against his perenial whipping boys and the Carlton fans are spoonting themselves. If you had posted a straight thread of Lloyd vs Fev after round 1 Lloyd would have won. Fickle, 5 second memory spans - That sums up most BF posters.
I abstain because this is a stupid poll.
Why specifically Lloyd at the age of 25? Of course Lloyd is going to win by a landslide... you set this up clearly for Lloyd to win, rather than something that could go either way. Biased and stupid poll IMO. :thumbsd:

yet Lloyd is not winning, hence my rant.
P.S. I also abstained as it is a stupid poll.

We wont value that vote because you're the most biased poster on BigFooty after reading your posts.

Player comparison polls after only 4 rounds are silly. Fevola might hit a slump and Lloyd hit a rich vein of form - or the other way around, in the next month or three.
But I would question the point of this poll, it is clearly set up for Lloyd to win. Hence, it is pretty much pointless.
yet Lloyd is not winning, hence my rant.
Give it time.
If you took out biased votes, Lloyd would be winning easily.

yeh lloyd is better then fev at the moment but fev defintly has more ptential then lloyd.. all he needs to do is get him self together off field and he would be just as good as lloyd if not better!

You must remember Lloyd at 25 was playing in ripper sides and gettin the ball delivered to him on a silver platter. Fevola's played in woeful sides his whole career and still been a gun. Gimme Fev any day of the week to win me a game.

pretty hard for llyod not to be better than fev - he played in the best team ever seen in the AFL in 1999-2001, and hasn't been in a team which has finished last.
if fev had the team structure around him llyod did he'd be rated much, much higehr because he could do much, much more.

Lloyd is by far better. He is one of the greatest forwards of all time.
