I've been turned off by the plethora of advertsing I've seen about this film.
All these stupid billboards trying to drum up interest. It's turned me off.
Less is more.

Guys, I just saw this, and It is one of the funniest movies I have seen in ages. I rate it better than Superbad and Knocked up. Don't think for one minute it is a chick flick, this is far more. Guys will love it, and Girls. I am still laughing.
By the way, Mila Kunis (voices Meg on Family Guy I think), Is the sexiest chick I have seen in ages. She is ____in HOTTTTT!!!!

You shouldn't have been so transfixed on it, that you even bothered to comment suggests you have issues. :D
BTW FSM > Superbad, Knocked up, 40yo Virgin. IMO, the best of the lot.

Good to see another "Freak and Geeks" actor getting some more work and doing well. Will be going to see this soon, hopefully.

Disagree Zarky... Most of the movies i've seen this (and last) year rated relatively low early, but the numbers did rise after about a fortnight.. Not saying dramatically, but there was a gradual rise.
This particular movie is currently up to 8.3/10 on imdb.. Albiet, only 1500 votes.. I'd say that's gonna be its peak..

I have not seen Heartbreak kid, I guess some comparisons could be drawn, but I would suggeat that was crap,this is great.
My comment on better than superbad, might be arguable. I just found this connected with me more thna superbad. The superbad part of my life is long gone, I am in the FSM stage of life.

Looking forward to seeing this. It's getting good reviews, has beautiful girls and its got some funny guys in it. Jason Segel rocks, Freaks and Greeks was great and he's hilarious in How I Met Your Mother.

Just got back from seeing this.
Thought I was going in to see a chick flick knew nothing at all about it, but its an absolute pissa. Had me in stitches so much.

If you liked 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up, then you'll like this. Many of the same actors, and similar sort of comedy.
I thought this one was pretty good. i really dislike most comedies so the fact that i thought this was decent prob means it's better than i'm letting on.
The English guy in the film was the highlight for me, dunno what it is about him, but his comedy seems natural and effortless. Loved his work. Thought the ending dragged on a little. Overall pretty good film that i'd happily recommend to anyone.

Fantastic movie. Pretty bloody hilarious. I didn thtink it was possible for Jason Segal to be funnier than he is in HIMYM...but he was.

Just saw it. Great stuff. Jonah Hill and Paul Rudd's cameos were quality. I wouldn't say it was funnier than Superbad, but it's a better movie, if that makes sense. Plot didn't drag as much as Superbad. Russell Brand almost stole the show. This is my favourite out of the Apatow movies.

I love SuperBad, but a lot of it's humour is from pure filth (which I'm cool with), where as Sarah Marshall is actually a smart, more funny movie.

Very good movie. Only went to watch it becuase I had a few hours to kill, and would have otherwise done soemthing else, or planned ahead exactly what I wanted to watch. Plenty of laughs for guys, girls everyone...
I cant split the blonde girl and Mila Kunis...
not bad overall. Probably not my cup of tea really but it got a few chuckles out of me.
Loved it. Jason Segal was great, and Russell Brand was hilarious.

Finally got around to watching this movie. Absolute Pissa! Really enjoyable and immensely funny.
Still can't get my head around Mila Kunis though. I'm a big Kristen Bell fan but Mila was in another league....
My Apatow movie order would be
40 year old > FSM > Knocked Up > Superbad

I have to say I loved it, was better than Knocked Up for me, probably not as great as Superbad or 40 year old virgin though, had some genuine belly laughs, which I don't normally have when watching movies.
Mila and Kristen were so friggen hot as well(Agree with you about Mila being in another league, for the movie at least).

50 minutes into the DVD tonight and I have turned it off. This is his worst by far. Few laughs at all. Nowhere in the same league as '40 year old' or 'Knocked Up' or 'Superbad'....

Dracula song was funny as hell want to get it as my ringtone.
The girl who plays meg was easily the hottest in the movie although the blonde chick wasnt bad.
Upon seeing the previews and stuff it kinda put me off guy loses girl, still in love with her but he finds someone else, gets over her and she loves him.
I found it to be a fun movie to watch that I think anyone can enjoy :thumbsu:

I thought at the start of the movie that Russell Brand's character would be snobby towards Jason Segel's character but it was hilarious how he was friendly towards him. Many great quotes."Oh theirs my driver. I'm goin' to have sex with her". I also love anything Paul Rudd is a part of. Awesome Movie.

Am pretty surprised by the high ratings it's got in this thread. Just thought it was your stock-standard, vaguely-humourous, see-with-your-GF-on-a-Tuesday-night kinda flick. Neither good nor bad, just a movie.
Mila Kunis was something to behold though. Absolutely burns the blonde, cross-eyed number.
Yeah it's a little like that, i liked how the laughs throughout were small (but plenty) - as opposed to other films with maybe one or two huge laughs and not much else.
I'd easily rate it as the second best in the Apatow productions film catalog (40 year old virgin being the best).

Not sure why I never got around to seeing this, but haven't enjoyed a comedy so much in years. Shits all over Knocked Up and Superbad, and probably just behind 40 YOV... writing was razor sharp (kudos Jason Segel), the acting was great, Mila Kunis amazingly beautiful, and Russell Brand did a great job of just being himself.
Luckily with free access to the new Foxtel movie channels until the 29th I got to see it for nothing in HD. Bonus. :thumbsu:
This movie has so many good scenes and funny individual quotes. Love it.

GReat movie. Its the sort of movie I havent liked in the past because they generally arent made well, but this one was. Some real genuine funny moments. The sort of movie that will make me laugh each time I watch it.

nah it wasn't Mila's. She said in an interview that they just copy/pasted her head on the body.
