Rd 4 changes from where I'm sitting:
Dal Santo FR
Luke Ball VG
Sam Gilbert FR
Jason Blake PR
Fraser Gehrig PR
Too many GDs for a team that got thumped... On the scoreboard at least... But that's where it counts.
Hopefully the skills are up this week.

Fraser Gehrig was appauling - what would he have rated without the last goal?
Thought Milne was quite good - his chasing and harassing was up, which doesn't necessarily translate to points. Two very poor shots on goal I guess hold him back.
Kosi was only good imo.
Agree with Bob - Blakey had a bad one.

I agree with all of those except Gilbo. I thought he did well moving up the field and ran to the right areas. Dal lucky not to get a poor.

if you don't mind a visitor, in my opinion, in round three, i thought sam fisher was really good, and nick dal santo fair at best

It's obviously statistically based but I wouldn't have thought Kosi was deserving of a VG last week and I think you've been a little bit generous towards Sam Gilbert. I was a bit happier with him on the weekend though, Ross gave him the task of following Ablett which will do his development a lot of good. Personally I'd have given Max VG's for rounds 1 and 2 as well. What more can a defender do than comprehensively thrash Hall and Fevola in successive weeks?
Great stuff anyway. I don't think I could go through each player and rate them in that detail, mostly because after I go to a game and we lose I don't bother with the replay because it makes me too angry.

Yeah maybe a bit harsh on Gilbert, I'm a big fan but I know he's playing nowhere near what he's capable of. And watching him he knows it.
Agree with Sainter as well. Kosi GD. If that's his best we are in trouble.
Get on the Luke Ball train. Past two games bar two (?) woeful kicks have been awesome. Confidence will get those kicks hitting their targets I'm sure. He's reminding me more and more of the Luke Ball of old!
