Your not kidding any one Woosh, we know Hansen is dropped due to poor form.
Nicoski is still there damm.
Kennedy and Chad Jones are there on the bench and some old faces on there too. Scott Selwood unlucky, considering Nicoski is still there.

There's still 3 to go out, you'd think only 1 of Cones or Kennedy will play.

Cones, Schofield and McNamara to miss, barring late injuries.
That's what I was thinking, with the possibility of Fletch missing over JMac.
Would love to see Schofield get a game on the HBF or wing though. Could do with his kicking.

Gotta go with the 2 talls, 4 smalls mix. Seaby should start on the bench with 3 mates. Can't see both Kennedy & Chad Jones getting a go.

Doesnt matter does it, a late change is allowed as long you have the emergencies named, yeh?
You would think so Fivey. Thank god Fridge made it in, Biggie could have had a mental breakdown. Convenient timing for a hamstring injury for Hansen, although I wouldn't be that surprised really. Any reason why Embley was out last week, what virus he had? Or could he have been dropped due to form as well?

The 3 EMG named (3 outs) must come from the interchange, or else you get fined.
I still have a bar fridge ready just in case of a late withdrawal.
Gutted Scooter was culled.

Ah I see, thanks buddy, didnt know that. :) I thought if the late change is some other dude then you get fined.
Good thinking Big Man.:thumbsu:
Yeah Scooter didn't do a lot wrong BM but a few good players to come back in. He'll get another crack this year you would think.

Its probably got to do with the rotation thingy, fellas. Though he could have been a real good match up for one of the Burgoyne brothers.

I hate Sunday games! The Thursday squad really tells you nothing.
Disappointed with Scooters omission.
Hope to see Schofield named in the team tomorrow.
Not sure what the final squad would look like at all to be honest, all I know is that Lynch, Kennedy and C. Jones will not all be playing obviously.
I'm glad the MC didn't listen to anyone on here and drop Armstrong :thumbsu:
LOL at Hansen (hamstring) :p who are they trying to fool?

What does Beau Wilkes have to do to get a game? Would have been a good replacement for Staker in defence.
Cones and Kennedy should play leaving Lynch as a utillity type and I'd like to see Schofield in too.
I hope we are not rushing Embley back too soon.
I wonder will the weather play a part in selecting our team? anyone know the temp for Sunday?
I reckon the emergencies will be Schofield, Fletcher, Embley and Kennedy.
Fletcher doesn't deserve a recall just yet, Schofield's naming is just to let him know he's on the radar and Kennedy will miss out to Jones and Embley might still have a carry over over the mystery virus.

I'm really disappointed for Ash. Say what you like, but he was our chf in our grand final year, he does straighten the side up when he is fully fit.
Hopefully schofield gets a game for some good performances in the wafl.

He is not a real CHF, he resembles a oversize HF at best. A very average player.
He doesn't straighten us up anymore, that talk should be shut up forever now we must rely on Kennedy who is a CHF to take us to our next flag in the coming years.

For me it will be the first four on the interchange that will get games.
Jmac did nothing last week so hes out.
Lynch's first two games have warranted one more chance so Cones just misses out.
Our defense has been OK and with Embley coming back into full fitness and running on the wing theres no room for Schofield. Only will come in if Embley is still crook.

He wasn't specific, didn't mention injury, said Braun would play for Subi, West Perth are playing tomorrow night, so Lynch probably wouldn't play.

Would be happy if Lynch missed out purely because i think currently
Kennedy + Cones >>>>>>> Hansen + Lynch
They could try worse things swapping Lynch and Hansen for Cones and Kennedy I reckon.
wouldnt drop brauny though, hes had two bad weeks but he'll come out of it. gotta persist with a proven player.
I'm a bit un happy with that too. Not alot he couldve done last week. Also one more game and he goes up in value in DT.
Scooter is young and doesnt have a massive body, will be 1 week on, 1 week off for most of the season. Will probably play 10 games.

Channel 10 said Braun was under massive pressure (kudos to the Big Man for this early scoop:thumbsu: ) and Lynch was almost certainly going to be dropped, but didnt as they couldnt risk it with Hansen.
I wouldnt be suprised if:
In: Schofield, Kennedy, Cones, Wirra, Embley
Out: Braun, Lynch, Scooter, Hansen, Staker
i know hes been named on the bench but ud think masten would be 100% right?

Why would WC drop Lynch before Hansen? Sure, they both haven't been great, but Lynch has been better. Channel 10 probably just said that because they had Hansen on the show.

Why the ____ is everyone bagging out Nicoski?
He was one of our best players last weekend, one of the few senior players who actually stood up.
And this is ironically from the same people who continuously said "Wait until Nicoski gets back, we'll be even better then!", and yet they want him out of the team after two good games(Rounds 1 and 4)? He's played better than a lot of senior players, and he's still coming back from a year and a half of injury!

Nickosi is rubbish. You can't be that rusty. He makes way too many errors, has the worst disposal and can't defend for peanuts.
He is just hanging on his spot. Hopefully he comes good, but i don't really see it happening.
regarding the ins and out. fletcher won't play and jmac doesn't deserve to lose his spot. Hansen is a fair call, they will only play 1 tall most likely kennedy, but cones kicked 7.4 in the wafl. Doubt they will drop Lynch.

Are you kidding? He's played 9 games since Round 14 2006, and he's been improving steadily since then. His disposal on the weekend was a 100% improvement from the first 3 rounds and from last year, so I don't know what you're complaining about.
He actually took the time and centred his kicks, the only others doing this were Bones and Spangher.
Definately not the same panicky Nicoski from Rounds 1-3, so I see definate improvement, and yet you want him dumped? He'll only get better, his pace and long kick can't be replaced unless you want Hurn to wallow back there all year.
BTW, Wirra can't defend if he has an opponent, that's not what he's there for, same with Nico.

I'm glad hansen is gone. I hope kennedy gets a go.
I'm also glad nicoski is still in, he's not been horrendous since the adelaide game i think.
Good on armstrong as well, with him mckinley and kennedy there'll hopefully be lots of pressure up forward.
Isnt the rule that if only players named on the bench on Thursday can be officially dropped from the team on Friday.
To drop a bloke from the starting 18 you would have to do so on gameday by using one of the emergencies

The selection policy is good WALF Form and play the youth we have to see what they have got. this side also gives us extra pace and flexibility.
cones is a great mark -sticky hands and plays well in the wet
fletcher -we need him to get the ball out and into the 50
Schofield can play in plenty of positions and has pace
Armstrong showed last week that at least he can tie the ball up and mark inside 50.
Scooter is a first year player so it will be just rotation don't expect the first yeat players to play more than 5-6 games when we have 2nd year players yet to debut.
kennedy well lets see what hes got.

Shouldnt the final team be out by now?
No matter - found em on the main board... Cones gets the nod... No Kennedy or Schofield unless Lynch gets dropped
