Cones has been in good form in the WAFL.
Kennedy looks the goods and a shot at the big time might really boost his development.
Who do you think to will get the nod?
I think it'll be Kennedy.

Kennedy, Derrr.

Lol, nah seriously. I think Kennedy will play he earned his spot in round 1 then again in round 3 but was extremely unlucky both times. If theres anything fair and right in the world he will play this weekend.

Conesy has been in good form. If you are rewarding WAFL form, which tends to be how the Eagles work, Cones will play. Either are good inclusions though.

Is Hansen really injured?

I think Kennedy will get the nod, as his fitness would be better than Cones' right now as I think Kennedy has played more WAFL games than him this season, so he should be able to fit in the AFL mode quickly.

I'm going to go with Cones. If Kennedy gets the nod, I'll be happy with that too. :thumbsu:

6PR reckons both Hansen and Lynch will be out, Cones and Kennedy to both come in

I'd like to see Kennedy in to see where he is at.

Kennedy will come in to play the lead up forward role Hansen does.

Cones deserves a game as well, it might just come down to the weather.

How did they come up with that theory?

Anyway I really hope Kennedy gets the game... but I'm probably tipping Jones based on WAFL form. Or I'd be entirely in favour of both playing with Lynch playing the Richo role and playing up through the ground.

What about all three of them playing with McKinley, Armstrong and Wirra at their feet?

Lynch--Cones--Wirra

Army--Kennedy-Mckinley

Im hoping for Kennedy.

Should have played in Round 3 but missed out due to the weather.

Not complaining about that though, McKinley came in for him :thumbsu:

Channel 10 sport said that Hansen's out with injury and Braun and Lynch are "under pressure to perform".
I'd like to see Lynch play this week, and if he has another shocker than WAFL for a few weeks can do no harm.

Yes but surely they both wont be out this one week?

I doubt it. I think Lynch will be given another shot.

Yeah, i'd think so... i'd be very surprised if they took a chance like that.
I would think that they'll give Lynch another chance, if not for his form then just to add some experience to the fwd line.

Karl Langdon was convinced from his inside mail that Braun would line up at Subi, and Lynch at West Perth

Oh crap!:thumbsd: Lose Hinkley, they gain Lynch, ripper! If it's true of course.

Lynch will play, surely. They won't drop Lynch and Hansen in the same week.

Whilst lynch isn't a Brown, Pav or Buddy he deserves another chance or two. Whilst he has only kicked 4.4 or something like that, he hasn't been bad enough to get dropped yet. IMO he has had one and a half 'bad' games this season, he does alot of work off the ball and up the ground whereas Hansen has had probably one or two good quarters this year.

Lynch and Kennedy will play on Sunday I'm thinking but if they don't perform, I expect Cones and Hansen will come in the following week.

However, the last time Kennedy was named in the team, there was the threat of rain and he was omitted as a late change. So, will the same go this week?

Who would Kennedy be dropped for if it was raining? Is Cones a good rain player?

I honestly don't think he would be dropped if it was raining. Then we'd only have 1 tall forward. Kennedy is definate starter in replacement to Hansen for mine.

Or I'll ****ing lose it. :D

I too heard that Lynch will be a late withdrawal.

Hard to believe but Langdon was pretty confident it will happen.

nope, too tall, peter burgoyne and co would rape us on the rebound. The days of 3 tall KP forwards is over. What you need is one or 2 smaller players who can present like talls, but still provide defensive pressure and kick well in general play, e.g. lecras, mckinley, ebert etc.
Next years forward line should be:

Mckinley Lynch Wirra/new crumber
Ebert/embley Kennedy Lecras

So the formula is 2 KP forwards, 2 smaller leading forwards, 1 crumber and one attacking mid. Stick to the formula

We need to get Lynch back to what he does best, kicking goals and spraying shots. We are asking too much of him from his football brain capacity (no offence Lynchy) which is limited. Stick the big Q at FF and let the shots on goal thunder.:thumbsu:

How? It better bloody not be... :(

I just thought, maybe they'll have Kennedy on the bench with Cones and Lynch on the field, then they'll rotate together.
