Benny looking good...although doesn't he always.

Hopefully he is getting his life back together.

Look at the Melbourne media suddenly producing so called "good news stories" about Benny...just because of the possibility he might play for a Melbourne team in the future.

GOD I miss Benny running around in the blue and gold

2a. The 'Done To Death' List. The following topics have been flogged repeatedly on this board and dragging them up again is a waste of time. New threads on these issues may be locked or deleted without notice.
- Ben Cousins should be allowed back to the club.

Do we really need another thread about Ben Cousins?

Sure he looks good, sure he might be getting his life back on track, but what does that have to do with our club?

All his problems are our fault, remember? If he never comes back, we ruined a champion layer, if he does (and it won't be with us) it will be a second chance feel good story etc.

WCE have created a martyre with Ben.

Every close loss ie the Freo game can and will be attributed to his sacking. If we are success-less in a decade, people will point to his sacking as the reason.

Only by resigning him or winning a flag, can the ghost of BC be excised.

I'll always support WCE but - as looks all likely - he ends up playing in another jumper - then I'll be livid with the club in a way I never have been before. Ben will be the only ex eagle player I actively support 100% though every kick will be like a knife stroke.

Interpretation is a funny thing.

What you call - doing to death - I call an out-pouring of support reflecting a rising groundswell from supporters.

Interpretation is a funny thing - because I don't see a groundswell of support anywhere... and these threads are usually started exclusively by those who want him back before descending into 50-50 yes-no arguments that go nowhere.
