I'm loving this 'watch out for your mate' mentality that has been injected into St. Kilda tonight. The quality and timing of the sheppard are unbelievable!
Thoughts?

Fantastic to see them function as a team
Looks like that's something they have been really working hard on.
Great to see:thumbsu:

I was so stoked to see the shepherding going on. The first couple weeks we seemed down on team spirit sort of thing, it was great to see us looking out for each other like that!

Long story mate, the shortened version being that it's an inside joke with a few mates, resulting in us spelling the word as 'sheppard'.
Now, it's just come natural and I wasn't thinking whilst making the thread!
I also loved seeing the agression in the Saints last night. Tackles were A+.

One of my highlights of the night was the goal I think Armo kicked which Kosi sheparded superbly on the goal line. And yes to our aggression as well. it is almost like they go together during the week and thought "Right, we need improvement here, here and here" and went about doing just that.
Can we keep it up?

Unfortunately I think the Voss article had an impact on the playing group, and the team ethic was more noticeable. Whilst you'd see no reason it can't continue, it could still be a short term reaction to criticism (hope not).
