Our New Players - Comparisons To Old Players....

Given many of the crows supporters havent seen too much of our new players can people provide some comparisons to other players in the afl?

For example:
Jacky: Hopefully develop into a Matthew Stokes type player;
Danger: Ben Cousins type;
Ottens: Pendlebury;
Curnow?;
Cook?;
Petrenko: The little fella from WC.
etc etc.

Please provide comparisons to any of our 1st, 2nd and even 3rd year players.

These two for sure. You can just see them developing as the appropriate comparison to two great legends of the club.

Dangerfield - Judd

Vince - D.Jarman. Running action is Cousins-like though.

Jacky - Vardy with more pace, bookmark it. Another flawless player assessment, copyright FD88 (GUN) 2008.

Knights - Goodwin...slight touch of Nicky Dal as well.

I think Dangerfield is a faster and hopefully football smarter version of Mattner more so than Judd. Tucking the ball under his arm, changing the direction suddenly and burning off his opponent with his pace is what Marty Mattner does at his best.

Tippett is more of a Stewie Lowe type but a bit more versatile in terms of being a quality ruckman.
