What's happened to the traditional V-neck footy jumper?

Just having a look at the Big V jumper on www.thebigv.com.au, and I reckon these modern designs look bloody ordinary.

Am I just out of touch with modern fashion trends or do other people think these high-tech guernseys don't look as good?

I dusted off my 1996 Victorian jumper to compare, and it looks magnificent... even still has the collar. Bring them back!

Completely agree, especially hate the new jerseys like Carlton and Victorias, they look ridiculous and dont actually do anything. I remember my club had jumpers like that and its not comfortable.
