like the loss against geelong he will make no excuse this week. they simply weren't good enough. not sure if you saw his press conference after geelong loss but he clearly said we're a long way off geelongs level, have to work harder etc. haven't seen what he said this week but i'd imagine it would be along the same lines. so i'm not sure what you're on about really...

was it unreasonable to think essendon might have had a chance against the bulldogs if mcveigh had not have got injured along with a couple of others? they were up by a couple of goals and then ran out of legs...

Considering most people (me included) tipped them for the spoon, he's well ahead of expectations and has no need for excuses.

Why doesn't albino blame the umpires ?

After all most Bomber freaks seem to do after an Essendon loss ???

I think a long-protracted losing streak is on the cards for Essenscum and all I can say is -

How sweet it is !!!

An Essendon loss is almost as satisfying as a Carlton win !!!

And there is going to be plenty more of both in the forthcoming weeks :D

A 16 point win against a rubbish side is nothing to be popping off about.

haha knights doesnt use excuses. he used the 6 day break as a reason why our injuries occuring btu didnt use them as a excuse for our loss.

if you actually listen to anything knights said you would know this

Knighter's a new coach, he's trying to figure out what he has to work with, and the team also have to learn to adapt to his new game plan.
He's doing alright :thumbsu:

Have to agree. I enjoyed watching their hard running style of play. And their hunger for the ball was great to watch. Must admit I was cheering them on when they got those 4 or 5 on the trot. First time for me because i despise the bombers:D

He's a step-up on Kepler Bradley.

Which reminds me: Solid recruiting work, Freo.

Laycocks got nothing on Copeland.Copeland is past his best now but at least he carved out a half decent career earlier on whereas Laycock hasnt even got going yet and looks to be heading in the direction of another spud in Keplar Bradley
