Just listening to Dermie and co on SEN and they have given huge props to David Hille.
One of them said, David Hille would have to be the first String ruckman for the Victorian side on current form.
Dermie even went so far as to say Hille is rivalling Big Cox as the most effective ruckman in the competition.
The onl criticism he recieved, is that they believe he does not realise, how good and important to the team he is.

THis season Hille has been slamming through those packs with strength and confidence like no other. Love watching him play and i never thought sheedy saw his potential or allowed him to develop it fully.

Trys his guts out every week. You can often tell that he is absolutely spent at the end of quarters because he has tried so hard. He can also take a great pack mark so he provides us with options up forward if we need him there.

I watched him very carefully last night and can say I have never seen a ruckman run so hard into space and chase as much...ever...including Cox...Even the Saints fans around me were amazed..
Should have retained the captaincy I believe..Nothing against Lloydy but when he has an off day its hard to rally the troops from the goalsquare.

Why would Essendon replace a proven leader in Lloyd and someone who will go down as one their greatest players when he calls it quits with someone before this season has struggled to put 2 good games together in his career?? Hille was hardly a world beater when he took over the captaincy in 2006

Can't wait till Neagle and Gumbleton are fit, the more time Laycock spends on the bench the better

He was chasing down midfielders all night was Hille! Derm is right, i don't believe that David knows how good he actually is.
Lazycock could learn a lot from the way Hille goes about his footy!!

It is very hard to sound as though I have any credibility when posting on Hille, as my name makes it obvious how i feel about him. As a result of this i have been waiting for someone to give Hille kudos he very much deserves. he has finally found consistency and is now one of our most important players in the side.
