My alarm clock went off to a montage of Triple M radio commentry consisting several times of "Paul Bower the man with funny hair!". This was at about 7:15, so was no expert talking about him but it was funny. Basically he credited Bower alone for the win because "he's a champion" and finished with "Triple M, the home of Paul Bower, Rock, Sport and Comedy.
Good to hear he's becoming a cult favourite.
THats Justin Hamilton from toast. Bower segment is on every week. Been going since round one. beats pete and muff for breakfast
Just a have a feeling that he might just be one of the stories of this year. Cemented his place in the team, and the way he plays, he could be a very very good player for us.

sexton was classy & untroubled, bower looks like he could be a decent player but he needs to improve his peripheral awareness on the ball. maybe in a few years.

I heard the one you're talking about this morning mate, aswell as last week. It's pretty damn funny, the little package they put together!
Nice to hear he has some support in his AFL career (or for his last name at least!:p).

thylacine called him the startled emu on another thread, man that was a funny call.
i got a few emu's living in a paddock near me, its great to see do gooder's trying to shoo them across the road like a duck & her ducklings. they dont realise how big these things are until real close & they've scared the schizenhausen outa the birds & themselves. i now think of bower bolting outa the backline when i see them.
might have to sneak up on them at nite & dye them blue (like the sheep down geelong way after the premiership )
The Bullengarook emu's are now officially known as "Paul" & "Bower" respectively !
