The title pretty much says it all, do you believe that this club gets alot of (Lucky) free kicks compared to the other 15 clubs in the AFL.

I think both the non footballing states with clubs.. eg: Brisbane and Sydney get preferrential treatment both from umpires and administration. Brisbane were virtually handed their premierships with the extra salary cap as were Sydney.
Hence it is only natural that umpires favour these 2 clubs. Here is an anology... If your boss openly admitted to favouring 2 vendors at work and had no problem telling everyone they wanted these 2 vendors to be successful..... and it was your job in a procurement department to decide which Vendor got the piece of work... are you going to choose someone else and potentially piss off your boss? Of course not. Every AFL umpire knows that the AFL wants Sydney and Brisbane to be successful so they are going to naturally give them more free kicks to allow them to win more games because if the umpire ended up being a reason for Sydney or Brisbane losing a premiership they would be sacked on the spot. We saw it in 2005 when Barry Hall was allowed to play in a Grand Final after goign the knuckle on someone. The tribunal was intimidated by the AFL into making sure "Sth Melbourne" had their best player. ____ing sickening :thumbsd:

I agree with you on your last sentence, I still can't understand how Barry Hall didn't get suspended for that hit on Matty McGuire. 99.99% of AFL players would have gotten suspended for that, and as much I hate to say this, your lot should have won that Premiership! If that ____wit wasn't in that side your team would have won that easily.
