Show your appreciation for Tippett scooping the ball off the ground on the wing with two Dockers right on his tail and then firing off a handball. I'll start off by saying that it gave me wood.

To quote Patty Dangerfields favourite movie Top Gun....

Tippett "must be close, i'm getting a hard on"

Was unbelievable. Amazing agility for a big bloke. 200cm and can pick up off the ground like Macca.(well slight exageration but I guess that's what this threads for;)) Guy is going to be a star.

It was one of a number of instances in the game that saw movement in my pants.

The one hand mark on the wing was another one I can think of as well as Macca's dribbled goal in the last. There were some other things too that got me excited, but that was not necessarily confined to the playing field.

Such agility from the lad, it wasn't the fact that he scooped the ball but because it was under pressure.
99.9% of todays ruckman would have soccered it, probably only Dean Cox would have done that today......The future is bright..:):)

Indeed ... there was certainly a lot to see on a nice warm day. Tippett's precise hands remind me of those of a well trained, perhaps blonde and buxom, dentist.

It was damn impressive, especially has he was held and dragged all day. McLaren watched his jumper being held and just looked away repeatedly.

I called for him to kick it off the ground...did not quite expect that! :D

There is so much to love about Kurt. When the Gold Coast franchise does arrive, I want us to move heaven and earth as a club to retain him.

Kurt is special alright! And this is exactly the reason why I like to see him do a bit of ruckwork this year because he gets in the pay more. He gets to use those skills he has and when he executes them well, he gains confidnce, with confidence he plays at a higher level etc....

The more we can involve him in the play the better it will be for his long term development. Eventually the experience he gains in general field play will make him a much better key forward.

Make no mistake, he will make an absolute gun forward down the track but for the sake of his long term development, Craig is doing this young man a great justice.

His scoop, the lighting clean handball from the contest in the center square that freed up his team mate, the trap and handball to Porplyzia that set up a Goodwin shot at goal and the one handed mark against Sandilands are the sort of things that 200 cm players just aren't supposed to do.

His scoop, mark and that trap reminded me of Hentschel. The future is bright for young Kurt

I have to say that scoop off the ground was quite impressive. It got me sadly wishing Freo had a player over 200cm that could show that much agility and skill. I honestly think that Tippett shows a lot of promise. Was that him who stuffed that shot at goal badly though? If so, should he improve his goal kicking, he could be a star.

That's one quality I love about Kurt, he always, always, gives 110%.

Yeah that was an interesting one. He slightly fumbled the mark, he was already heading to goal before he had it in the first instance. The good thing was that once he fumbled the mark he made the immediate decision no to play on and to go back and kick a set shot. A lot better than being indecisive, hesitating, being called to play on then getting caught holding the ball.

I was very impressed with the quick decision making even though I think he still had ample time to play on if he had decided to do so and the set shot ended up being a Barry Crocker.
