What do you reckon is out best 22?
Here's mine.
B: Maguire, Hudghton, Dempster
HB: Goddard, S.Fisher, Gram
C: Armitage, Ball, Dal Santo
HF: Harvey, Riewoldt, Schneider
F: Milne, Koschitzke, X.Clarke
FOLL: King, Hayes, Montagna
I/C: M.Gardiner, Gilbert, C.Gardiner, Jones
EMG: Gehrig, L.Fisher, Blake
Any thoughts?
I reckon if we get our best 22 playing and in good form, we can be better than Geelong.

Agree. baker is a shoe-on for our best 22. he is our most accountable midfielder and does a superb job on some of the best midfielders.
Got a bit of mongrel about him too which is always good to see!

Only argument i have is with these 3 players. L.fisher is hands down a much better utility defender than gilbert, baker would be in well before Jones and although i was very impresed with c.gardiner's game i'd have to go with gehrig just because of past experience (this may change though if gardiner strings a few good games together).

forgot about baker. but i reckon c.gardiner adds more versatility to the team i reckon. if gehrig bit more when he doesnt have the footy, he would above c.gardiner.

I have to agree with you Mailman4. Last year Gilbert was on fire but so far this year he has been fairly lack lustre. I would consider that Geary's performance so far this year has been better than Gilbert's.
Whether or not Fraser Gehrig is in our 22 is a whole thread in itself.
