It is time.
We are due for a win over these guys and what better time do it when we desperately need a win to get our season back on track.
Time to see our mids back themselves and run and carry the ball and move it forward quickly.
Cox and Seaby to win the ruck against Lade and Brogan.
Waters to do the job on Cornes again.
Selwood to get his mojo back and stitch up S Burgoyne.
Bones to towel up Mr Potato Head whilst Glass gives Westhoff a lesson.
Cones to bring his WAFL form into the big league and stop aiming at the goal posts.
Fletcher to tag the little Cornes out of the game.
Etc, etc.....
Wishful thinking perhaps, but we will win.:thumbsu:

We have to win to get our season back on track, a hugely important game, and i reckon we're up it.
Fire the ____ up eagles, and anyone whos going to the game make some noise andget our boys pumped up.

Im really confident about this game, i can just feel it. Lets dish out some revenge over the Final we lost last year...that was such a sad match.

Haha, I was gunna make a thread like this, but thought i would look like a real tool if we lost. It do or die this week.
All week I have thought Port would win but as the game is getting closer I am getting the vibe of a win.
Hopefully something like this:
West Coast: 14.10.94
Port Adel: 12.11.83
It will be close.

I suggest we bring a better side into this game than we had against them in the finals in Adelaide last year.

I think we'll lose.
We lost to a Freo side that are an absolute rabble. Their only win this season has been against us, on a ground where the pathetic & talentless Richmond absolutely smashed them. What hope have we got against a Port side with vastly more experience, strong midfield, and KPP superior to ours.
Only thing that is giving me hope is that Port has been badly out of form in 2008 with no real explanation for it. So its not like they can rectify it over night.

How about we beat Brisbane, Brisbane beat Port, therefore we are better than Port also as it has to complete the circle?:p
Regarding the KPP superiority though, have you actually seen their backline? I think even our forwards have a chance!

Hmmmm... I think that is more to do with the fact that Brisbane are a pretty tough physical team who like the wet.
If it rains I dunno who that would suit out of WCE and Port.
We havent shown any real signs of toughness this year either. (Apart from Beau)

Not to sound pessimistic here but coming into the game I was expecting nothing different from the result against Sydney to be honest and it seems to be turning out that way.
Lets face it - we are slow, weak at the contest and look more like we would rather be down the pub than on the field - we were never in the running for this.
Only Melbourne are worse than us this year and we deserve to be where we are.
We could end up with as many draft picks as you like at the end of the season, it won't help if the players out there have no desire to perform.
I tipped Port.
