View Full Version : Talkback on 774 3LO
I don't usually like attacking one of our own, however, there was a "lady" who called up after the game having a go at Matty Kreuzer, basically saying that he played like he had been out last night.
Well, you are PATHETIC! :thumbsd:
He didn't get alot of it today, but his work around the ground was pretty good. Kicked a goal himself, and worked beautifully with Murphy to set his goal up as well.
Some people really piss me off when a) they have a go at the most inexperienced player in our 22 today, and b) have no idea about football at all.
If this person knew anything about Matty at all, she'd realise that he could be a super talent for us in the future. Once he gets some muscle onto that frame, and some experience and development under his belt, who knows what type of player he could be.

Matthew Kreuzer was very good today, all things considered. Although he was easily beaten in the hitouts, once the ball hit the deck he was very good, and provided a much better target when he went up forward than Setanta did.

12 hitouts, 15 possesions and a goal. Name a ruckman under 22 who did better this weekend?

I didn't see the game, but I did listen on the radio, clearly this stupid woman knows nothing, he was in fact one of our best players.....
What a ridiculous thing to say, I cannot believe anyone would be having a go at Kreuzer.

Just off-topic for a second, I must compliment you on your avatar. :thumbsu: :p

I thought Kreuz was good today. Putting his head over the ball, roving the tap outs, not to mention 111 points in Supercoach as well. Don't know what that woman is on
On another note, what the hell are you doing listening to 3LO  ;) :p

Stan Alves said that supporters need to be patient, and he suggested that Carlton have got a great young talent on their hands. Also noted what a great footy brain he posesses.
Reading between the lines, he basically told her to pull her head in.

No other station had talkback. They either had the Richmond/Bulldogs game, or were previewing the Eagles/Power game.

I was shocked when I saw he got that many Supercoach point. Considering he only got ~58 DT points, to manage that many Supercoach shows the quality of his possessions (of the few players that had a higher Supercoach score, Heath Scotland had the lowest DT points with 97).

Would have loved it if Kreuz had held that mark in the goal square. Thought he had a good game considering he is still new to the AFL.People expect miracles. It is about development. Good on him!

Maybe because he can't deal with Clive Peeters E-E-Easy crap all day long. ABC are very good, unfortunately Morphett was on today - he does for commentary what Ivan Milat did for Belanglo bushwalking.
MK is a sensation. Almost cheating having a ruck and extra rover in the middle at the same time. He's the Adam Gilchrist of AFL.

I thought he had a good game today...15 possies and a goal is ok for a young bloke with a handfull of games under his belt...

Kreuzer has been terrific the last two weeks and is a very exciting player..
I just hope they fix his hip thing soon so we have him play for us for the next 10 odd years, as he will only get better. In fact I could see him holding a premiership cut aloft.
