Today the boys looked like they didnt want the footy.
Over 20 times today, players had the opporuntiy to smash the richmond bodies into the turf and win us a free kick and instead laid a measly slap across the body in a poor attempt of a tackle.
Cross, Boyd and Addison showed glimpses of what is required by AFL players by smothering, diving on the footy in desperate measures etc, whilst players like Eagleton and Gia were soft as sh*t.
The boys need to look through the tape, have a good hard look at themselves and see that to be a decent team in the coming weeks, they need to get their nails dirty, bodies hurt and win the bloody footy because today was a disgrace to see as a supporter.

It will take the pressure off Williams, Everitt, Ray, etc.
Second week in a row Gia has 'squibbed/taken a half step/not gone when he had to'. But Eagleton was no where to be seen. Although for the first half he was tagging and someone was tagging him so it was 3 on one. So i'm not really sure how to rate his game.

Also would i be correct in saying Hahn is a hog?
Last two weeks ive noticed instead of playing the percentage he goes and turns it over..
Look i love his work rate but he needs to learn to give it when he has no other option. I think he feels he has to break a takle before disposing it..

No so much a hog. Just has poor decision making. Always has. He's in the team for different reasons though. Something that always looks worse when we lose, or in the case draw.

We looked average at times because Richmond played hard and tackled well. Size is still an issue in my opinion.

One contest that absolutely gave me the shits was in the second quarter I think.
Deledio was running back for a mark and Gia had the chance to either commit himself for a punch or mark. He did neither and was hoping delideo would have droped the ball but to Deledios credit he marked it and finished well :thumbsu:

Eagleton pulled out of a marking contest in the second quarter gifting Richmond a goal. Not as obvious as Gia's short steps, but still there.
Still, he was hardly Robinson Crusoe when it came to not chasing. There's a certain Mr Ryan Griffen who should have a good look at the tape of this game as an example of "not good enough".
too many time we saw tambling and king running through the middle but the thing that really hurt was the ease with which our tackles were broken
